IS/ IT PROJECT MANAGER/ANALYST

The IS/ IT Project Manager/ Analyst (PM/A) is responsible for serving in an IS/IT operations manner supporting core organizational functions. The PM/A will perform IS/IT project management, support systems migration, conduct applicable trainings, and perform policy creation and management. The PM/A will engage with external vendors to provide technical solutions required for the achievement of business goals and initiatives.
Duties Include:
Research and evaluate emerging technologies, including both hardware and software. Research and analyze business processes and feedback from system users, stakeholders, and other teams to shape projects, requirements, and features.
Manage projects from inception through implementation. Gather system requirements, obtaining data/resources, analyze findings, develop and execute case testing, evaluate systems performance, communicating business options and/or solutions.
Perform administrator functions for select software applications.
Update and maintain relevant policies and procedures. Develop and conduct training on software applications, policies, and processes.
Troubleshoot, maintain, and resolve software problems. Identify potential risks and connections between applications, systems impact, and provide recommendations for resolution. Procure technical assistance as needed to help with complex software issues. Evaluate and utilize performance metrics to meet department and organizational goals.

Minimum requirements include:
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Business, Informatics or equivalent. Masters Degree preferred
Minimum 3-5 years of recent experience in computer sciences, Software IS/IT project management, or analyst in a healthcare environment; 5 or more years preferred.
Advanced computer proficiency; MS Office skills in Word, Excel and Outlook, Access, Data analysis, SQL, MS Azure, Smartsheet, and Visio
Experience with cloud development, scripting language, and database design
Apply principles, procedures and methods used in systems analysis and design, including those having computer-based applications principles and practices of data architecture and data management
Demonstrate modern administrative practices and techniques with particular emphasis on the use of electronic data processing systems in a mid-sized organization
Apply principles, practices, and procedures used in the development and implementation of management information systems, particularly as they apply to the integration of diverse systems
Effectively employ standardized methods used in the analysis and design of integrated data processing systems project management
Understand the correlation between HIPAA, IT, and Agency operations
Plan, organize and direct the work activities of outside consultants and/or systems analysis and programming staff assigned on a project basis as members of the management analysis team
Develop and implement standard data processing systems, methods, and procedures
Determine the feasibility and application of electronic data processing systems to existing departmental operations
Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal communication, and organizational skills
Effective time management skills, including the ability to meet deadlines
Strong analytical, critical thinking, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Proven ability to foster and maintain open, collaborative, and constructive relationships with co-workers, AAA 1-B leadership, and stakeholders to achieve departmental and operational results
