The Opportunity:

We are seeking a Platform Lead to join our team to transform the future of maritime vehicles within the U.S. Navy. The right candidate has knowledge of Platform as a Service (PaaS) and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) solutions to provide engineering, deployment, and sustainment across the cloud architecture and solution life cycle.
As a Platform Lead on our team, you will have the chance to help bring the vision of a Software Factory for autonomous development to life for a Navy client. You’ll apply specialized knowledge of cloud-specific technologies and services, leverage expertise in the Cloud Command Line Interfaces (CLI) and Cloud SDKs, comprehend cloud architectural constructs, and establish and maintain cloud environments programmatically using vendor consoles or third party tools. You’ll recommend tools and capabilities based on your research of the current environment and knowledge of cloud-based resources. You’ll work with our cloud team to inform strategy and architecture design. This is an opportunity to stay on top of the latest cloud resources as you lead efforts to prototype using multiple techniques and new technologies. You’ll be able to broaden your skillset into areas of cloud security and DevSecOps, while gaining experience with autonomous technology. You Have:
· 2+ years of experience with cloud engineering, including deploying, operating, and maintaining web-based IaaS and PaaS applications
· 1+ years of experience with DevOps and using CI/CD tools, including Git, Jenkins, CodeDeploy, CodePipeline, or TeamCity, and Docker or Kubernetes
· Experience with designing cloud environments using DevOps and Continuous Integration and Deployment tools
· Experience with engineering solutions in a multi-cloud environment, including Amazon Web Services (AWS) services, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Microsoft Azure
· Knowledge of allocating, configuring, and monitoring cloud-based resources, including virtual machines, storage, and networking components
· Ability to follow established systems engineering and software development principles
· Secret clearance
· HS diploma or GED
Nice If You Have:
· Experience with Managed Services and Security Accreditation processes
· Experience with third-party tools, including Docker, Kubernetes, and Ansible
· Experience with working in defense cloud environments, including AWS Government Cloud
· Experience with multiple operating systems, including UNIX, Linux, and Windows
· Ability to work within a collaborative team and a fast-paced dynamic environment
· Ability to be a self-motivated and continuous learner with expertise in the cloud
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems preferred
· AWS or MS Azure Certification
Clearance:

Salary for this position is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, location, the candidate’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies and experience, as well as contract specific affordability and organizational requirements. The proposed salary range for this position is outlined below.
Colorado: $94,400.00 – $175,400.00 (annualized USD)
New York (including New York City): $103,840 – $192,940 (annualized USD)
