An American Company is seeking a BI and Data Analyst in Hybrid / Chicago, IL.
Role Description
• Advanced and diverse experience with visualizing data.
• You will be an expert in Office 365 applications, Power Automate (Flow), Power Apps, and Power BI
• You can interpret data models and are familiar with Design and development of SQL queries, stored procedures and user defined functions
• Knowledge of business intelligence concepts, practices, and solutions as they pertain to external data, reporting and self-serve methods
• Business acumen and business ethics to lead business intelligence initiatives and set strategic and tactical objectives
• Ability to develop and maintain proprietary databases with a deep understanding of the underlying data models and how to sync or link data between various sources.
• Learn, master, and support proprietary and third-party applications and websites including conducting data entry, data manipulation, data creation and data analysis.
• Understanding of data migration requirements to help strategize market integration projects, including moving the data and converting content as necessary, while considering risks and potential impacts
• Cleanse or translate data so that it can be effectively moved between systems.
• Test data in system after the migration process to find errors and/or points of corruption.
• Create intuitive technical documentation as appropriate and provide written communications
• Strong communication and presentation skills, have the ability to communicate with impact the ‘so-what’ of complex analytics to non-technical audiences
• Demonstrate a good understanding and experience working with agile methodology.
Skills & Requirements
• Experience in the tech/CRE industry advantageous.
• A quick learner, this person will be expected to draw upon their experience and immediately plug into projects at any stage.
• Analytical skills in being able to break down complex business topics into a consumable form.
• Expert organizational skills to work with a vast array of information and present in an organized manner at any time.
• Expert listener and requirements gatherer.
• Expert verbal, written and presentation skills.
• Understanding of accounting and commission compensation basics.
• Ability to thrive in a multifaceted environment and work on multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to listen, facilitate and execute.
• Ability to speak to non-tech savvy audiences in simple terms without condescending tone.
