Summary
The Digital Marketing Manager (DMM) is primarily responsible for creating and coordinating the execution of paid Search, Social, and Display advertising campaigns on behalf of the company and its franchise owners. This position works directly with key vendors to ensure proper day-to-day execution, analysis, and optimization for Search Engine Marketing (SEM), Display advertising, and paid Social Media marketing campaigns. Functional areas of responsibility include but are not limited to campaign setup, testing and optimizing campaigns, list management, smart segmentation, performance monitoring/pacing, and reporting/KPIs. In addition, the DMM will help support Search Engine Optimization (SEO), website updates, and online listings management. The DMM must be data-driven, detail-oriented, and comfortable presenting to a wide range of stakeholders in formal and informal settings. The DMM will report to the Director of Digital Marketing and assist in analyzing and prioritizing all digital campaigns and initiatives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Digital Paid Media
Primary focus on paid Digital Marketing campaigns across a variety of platforms.
Work directly with Director of Digital Marketing to manage and oversee third-party execution and marketing calendar of Search Engine Marketing Campaigns (SEM), Display, retargeting, and paid Social Media marketing campaigns.
Setup, optimize, and analyze digital campaigns in Google Ads, Meta / Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.
Work with our strategic vendors to identify and track emerging trends and competitors in SEM, continuously seeking areas of opportunity.
Shared accountability for the 1.5M+ budgets across 120+ franchise locations meeting or exceeding KPI goals nationally and by the franchise.
Support boosting of organic social posts
Reporting utilizing Google Analytics G4 and Data Studio
Online Listings, SEO & Website
Secondary focus to support online presence including Search Engine Optimization (SEO), website, and online local listing directories.
Analyze organic traffic, identify and implement areas of improvement for SEO using SEMrush, Google Analytics, and Search Console.
Utilize Yext for online listings such as Google MyBusiness, Bing, Yahoo, Facebook, Instagram, Apple Maps, Wayze and Yellow Pages, as well as Yelp.
Audit online listings regularly and review local search results.
Support creation of new web pages, as well as other website edits or improvements.
WordPress and October CMS experience a plus.
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
2+ years of experience in developing, launching, and managing brand and performance-driven paid digital media campaigns
2+ years of hands-on experience managing SEM Google Ads pay-per-click accounts
2+ years of Google Analytics G4 experience for advanced analysis
SEMrush, Google Search Console and Tag Manager experience a plus
Experience implementing and coordinating campaigns within the following social media channels and can verbally articulate the various advertising opportunities that exist within Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube Advertising.
