Project Manager

Futrend Technology has an opening for a Project Manager to join our team professionals in support of one of our customers in a Clinical Health Care environment. The Project Manager will work remotely and at the customer site in Bethesda, MD when necessary.

Summary of Role and Responsibilities:

The Project Manager will plan, coordinate, and manage a diverse portfolio of Agency Technology Projects that cover the spectrum from clinical and back office software, to infrastructure, security and medical related hardware. The Project manager will need to coordinate among a large group of senior leaders and stakeholders and organize the activity of a matrixed team of government and contractor personnel. This will include being responsible for successful delivery and execution, and leading a team of developers, business analysts, testers, and more. The team will employ agile methodologies.

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide management, technical leadership for complex software development project using Agile methodology
Understand and oversee all phases of the software development lifecycle using the agile development methodology
Responsible for resource management, including hiring, and performance appraisals.
Manage software integration and development efforts
Manage concurrent projects and resources
Provide overall Project Management (PM) support using Project Management Institute’s, PMBOK®.
Responsible for management of assigned projects, including contract and subcontractor.
Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction at all times.
Responsible for project scheduling and tracking.
Responsible for risk management and project deliverables.
Stay in communication with stakeholders and other teams.
Manage all required activities to ensure schedules and requirements are being met.

Required Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent with 8 years of work experience with 5 years of experience managing concurrent complex software development projects
Experience with Agile development methodology
Strong technical aptitude
PMI PMP Certification required

Desired:
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification
Software development working experience highly desired
Experience working at HHS agencies highly desired

Position requires the ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.
