DescriptionJob Description:We are seeking an Entry Level CAD Drafter to work a hybrid telework schedule out of our Portland, OR office.As a core team member of our Utility Substation Section, you will be interacting with an established group of engineers, designers and drafters, playing a valuable part in executing drafting of accurate drawing packages for utility power delivery projects, using MicroStation and AutoCAD.Please note – this position requires the selected candidate to work through a temp agency for 6 months before conversion to a Leidos employeeIf this sounds like the kind of environment where you can thrive, keep reading!In this role, you can expect to grow: With opportunities for both technical and non-technical trainingBy participating in our mentorship programWhat you will bring to the table: HS diploma and/or drafting certificate with 1+ years relevant experience drafting and detailing with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation.Knowledge of drafting principles, techniques, and procedures.Proficiency in the ability to manipulate vector and raster drawing files in AutoCAD and/or MicroStation.Ability to create and modify drawings from engineer-provided markups with a high level of attention to detail.WHAT WE DO Leidos is a trusted and technology-focused solutions provider.
