Senior Network Administrator (CNYRIC)

OCM BOCES is looking for a Senior Network Administrator to be located within the Candor Central School District and other districts in the Upstate NY area. A successful candidate will administer the operation and maintenance of a local area network and/or wide area networks. Requires in-depth knowledge of the design, configuration, maintenance and management of computer network components including; switches, routers, network servers and other network storage devices (SAN). Maintains security for LAN/WAN access and devices, administers server access, all server software, backups and security. Candidates must be reachable on the existing eligibility list. If there is no mandated eligible list, candidates will be considered for provisional appointment. Continued employment will be contingent on successfully passing the required examination and being reachable on the Senior Network Administrator eligibility list.
