You will work with product management and engineering to make sure all products and features are technically sound and well architected. You will conduct research on ways to improve our existing portfolio. You will help shape the direction of all our new products. You are comfortable working with large scale systems and massive amounts of data. You enjoy designing well thought out solutions that use well established computer science patterns.

Responsibilities and Duties
Act as a knowledge expert on all products and services in our portfolio
Actively research ways to continually improve the architecture and performance of our products
Facilitate requirements and design choices between product management and engineering
Maintain technical and architecture diagrams of our products
Provide oversight technical guidance on prototyping efforts of new products and services
Collaborate with other architects across the organization to ensure consistent architectural patterns

Requirements:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science
8+ years of professional software development experience
Experience building and designing large enterprise systems
Experience architecting applications with global data accessibility and integrity.
Experience building and deploying micro services built to handle massive amounts of users and data
Comfortable architecting a large-scale solution in either Python or Node.js
Experience designing new systems as well as inheriting systems built and designed by someone else
Experience migrating large scale systems between major versions
Solid understanding of release engineering principles.
Comfortable using Linux/*nix CLI
Comfortable deploying technology in AWS
Networking knowledge or experience is helpful but not required
Location: Headquarters are in Atlanta, GA, however, remote applicants within the US will be considered.
