This position builds deliverables that fit an established graphic identity, including magazines, brochures, posters, direct mail and signage, as well as visuals for web, social media, email campaigns and other channels.Working closely with assistant director of graphic design and the marketing communications staff, this position requires a strong understanding of design standards, a commitment to teamwork and exceptional attention to detail. This highly collaborative position interacts with colleagues, campus partners, volunteer leaders and vendors.A day in the life could be:Provides graphic design for print, video and online projects, including website and emails.Works with the communications and development teams in brainstorming and creating graphic concepts to meet project objectives.Assists with the integration of online, video and print communications with visual design strategies.Maintains design standards for visual identity, including wordmarks, palettes, font selection, etc.Assists colleagues with implementing and adhering to the organization’s visual identity.Maintains a high level of skill using page layout and photo editing software.Assists with bidding and production process for all print projects.
