Description:The Technology Project Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and negotiating with vendors for products and/or services for technology related projects. The Technology Project Coordinator oversees the development of the RFP, RFI or RFQ. The Technology Project Coordinator strategizes techniques to deliver outputs within the required budget limitations, resource constraints, and timetables. The Technology Project Coordinator will create a plan that includes risk, legal, security, vendor management and other necessary parties to examine contracts for terms and agreements acceptable and beneficial to the credit union. After the project is complete, this position will ensure the solution is effectively transitioned from project management and into operation/production.Normal Day-to-Day WorkCoordinate and possibly source vendors for products and/or services related to technology projects.Negotiates contracts, pricing terms, and service level agreements.Work with project managers and end users to deliver outputs within the required budget limitations, people resource constraints and project timetables.Develop, execute, and maintain a plan for each project that includes risk, legal, information security, vendor management and other necessary parties.Ensure all contracts and agreements are examined for acceptable terms.Work with technology teams and/or business units to ensure successful transition of projects from project management to production and support.Develop procurement strategies that are inventive and cost-effective.Source and engage reliable suppliers and vendors based on the requirements provided.Review existing contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure on-going feasibility.Build and maintain long-term relationships with vendors and suppliers.Control the procurement budget and promote a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs.Job QualificationsHere are a few skills you MUST have to be considered for this position.4-6 years of experience in a technology related field implementing technology systems, solutions, or projects.Proven track record of taking plans to execution within a corporate environmentAbility to convey ideas and gain consensus/buy-in both horizontally and vertically across the organizationAbility to function in a business office environment and utilize standard office equipment including but not limited to: PC, copier, telephone, etc.Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
